> Festival of Sagres: the Great Branchiopods of Temporary Ponds

The Great Branchiopods present in temporary ponds are represented by rare species with very limited distributions and endemic in this region. The best example of this is the case of Triops vicentinus which has remained in these temporary habitats since before the Jurassic. In this talk you’ll get to know these freshwater crustaceans.
