> Being one of the research and development projects currently undergoing in Vila do Bispo county, was presented at the University of Minho, by the invitation of that municipality.

 

Vila do Bispo Council Projects Seminar was held at the UM-Cidades facilities, at the University of Minho, Campus of Braga, where the LIFE Charcos Project and the discovery of the Triops vicentinus were presented by Professor Margarida Cristo from the University of Algarve.

The participation in this seminar was the result of an invitation from the Mayor Adelino Soares, from Vila do Bispo county (south of Portugal), who accompanied the delegation of several researchers, from projects ongoing on it's territory, to the capital of Minho (North of Portugal) to promote the territory of Vila do Bispo.

The audience for this seminar was mainly composed of university students, national and international, who had the opportunity to get to know more about the project and the species that inhabit the temporary ponds, as well as their importance and potential threats.
