The annual meetings gather conservation experts from different branches of science related to land use, along side with other stakeholders of wetlands management. Thanks to the diversity of participants, it was possible to create space for dialogue, sharing of knowledge and experiencesrelated to restoration, management and conservation of European wetlands. One of the main objectives was to find solutions that effectively solve problems encountered and arising in a changing world.
