Within the LIFE Charcos Project, several actions have been developed to raise awareness and environmental education in the municipality of Vila do Bispo in order to increase knowledge about the Temporary Ponds, its biodiversity and its natural value.

As a result, the Vila do Bispo Primary School classes prepared a show entirely dedicated to the Triops vicentinus - Freshwater crustacean belonging to the Large Branchiopods whose world distribution depends exclusively on the Temporary Ponds of this region.

Thus, we have invited you to attend the "Triops' Party" that will be held at the Vila do Bispo Cultural Center Auditorium on June the 5th, as a celebration of World Environment Day at 11am and 2p.m.
