The first meeting of the Scientific Committee of the Project LIFE Charcos will have as its main purpose the presentation of the project and the temporary ponds of the SCI of the Southwest Coast to the scientific advisors. The purpose of this committee is to provide scientific monitoring of the actions foreseen for this project, and also to provide a specialized counselling in the implementation of field management actions and in the accomplishment of long term conservation for this priority habitat.
